Mintdrop

Mintdrop is a super fun project that I worked on during 2022 and 2023. I've been the only designer in the team with two software engineers.

We created a no-code Web3 launchpad + insights platform which allowed people to easily launch their NFT drops/campaigns, but also provided analytics and insight into the token owners, which was quite new at the time.

Mintdrop was acquired by OpenSea in 2023.

We initially started working on this back in autumn of 2021, when we saw it as "ConvertKit for the NFT artists". The vision wasn't clear enough and we worked on another project in parallel (Rel.run, a low-code backend framework for developers) so we put it on hold after a few weeks, and then restarted a few months later.

I worked with two software engineers who previously helped the Moonbirds team launch their collection. We realized there was a need for the creators to have a single place for launching their collections, but also for the analytics and tracking their NFTs in the post-mint life. The biggest value we provided was a simple way to handle the NFT minting process.

This was a very fun product to work on, and the first web3 project for me. My main goal was to make this complex process of minting and managing NFT collections simple and understandable for the non-technical users. We spent a lot of time on polishing the flows and listening to our users, shipping fast and iterating even faster.
